POLICIES
Appointments:
Pets that are not on a recurring schedule of 4, 6, or 8 weeks are subject to availability.
Appointments are scheduled in one-hour intervals.
Cancellations:
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or no-shows, may incur a $50.00 fee per pet.
Payment:
All grooming services must be paid in cash or by credit card at the time of service. Tips are always appreciated.
Photos:
We may take photos of your pet before, during, or after the grooming process for educational, promotional, advertising, or website purposes. If you would like a copy, please let us know.
Matted Pets:
Removing heavily matted coats carries a risk of nicks, cuts, or abrasions due to warts, moles, or skin folds trapped in the mats. Severe matting can also trap moisture close to the skin, which may promote the growth of mold, fungi, or bacteria and expose pre-existing skin irritations. As the owner, you are responsible for the condition of your pet’s coat, and Petit Ami Pet Mobile cannot be held liable for any adverse effects resulting from the removal of mats.
Behavioral Issues:
We will do our best to groom pets that are uncooperative; however, we may not be able to complete the service if they pose a risk to themselves, other pets, or our groomers. We reserve the right to refuse future appointments if a pet’s behavior makes grooming unsafe.
Pet Injuries:
We will never intentionally harm your pet and take all necessary precautions to ensure they are treated with kindness, care, and respect. Grooming tools are sharp, and pets can be restless and move unexpectedly, so even with extreme care, there is a possibility of cuts, nicks, scratches, or nail injuries. If an injury occurs, we will provide immediate first aid and inform you. Significant injuries that occur during the grooming process will be covered by Petit Ami Pet Mobile. Veterinary costs related to matting, advanced age, or pre-existing conditions are the owner’s responsibility.
